About Us

At Genesis Ark Project, we want to provide a Christian foundation for young men as they enter adulthood. We want them to see the bigger picture of the world and understand that a greater power is at work in their lives beyond themselves.

How it all Started

“On August 26, 2024, I found myself suspended in midair from a Hoyer at the Mary Free Bed Hospital in Lansing. Realizing that I might never walk again, yet blessed with my full mental faculties, I had a profound epiphany, akin to Paul’s experience on the road to Damascus.

My road would involve working with my wife and the Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church in Fowler to send young men to experience the Ark Encounter in Williamstown, Kentucky, to have a faith-affirming experience similar to mine.

Blessed with the Genesis ARK Project board that was formed 2024 got behind the project - Mission accomplished: on August 5th, 2025, six young men participated in the Genesis ARK pilot project.

The enthusiasm of the young men in the video after touring the ARK inspired our board to continue the project for 2027 and, God willing, every year after that!”
